I was sitting at my mon’s desktop using her computer when all of the sudden I realize the light was perfect to make a photo; so picked up my camera, arranged the desk a little bit and then I made the shot. I think it will be a nice image to look at a few years from now after her retirement.

I was walking down the street to the local lab where I get my film developed & scanned, when I saw this green old VW combi wainting for me to take its photograph. What I think makes this photo a good photo is the big white VW logo wich pops out of the green color, without it the combi wouldn’t look as funky as it looks.

If you want vivid colors, lots of people and be sure that you’ll get quality photographs doing the bear minimum, then you should go to a marketplace and start making some clicks. David Alan Harvey once said that if you can’t make any good photographs in Oaxaca, México then you have serious problems; I think the same though applies to marketplaces.

Kodak Pro Image 100 | Tripod

Kodak Pro Image 100

Would you believe me if I tell that it was completly dark when I made this photograph?, well… it was. My girlfriend and I decided to make some long exposure shots with her DSLR to see what would happend and the result shocked us; we never tought of capturing a kind of redish sky as if the sun was already out hiding behind the clouds. We continued taking some trial shots in order to define the f/stop and exposure for me to use with my film SLR and the parameters I used were the following ones:

ISO Speed: 100 | Focal Lenght: 50mm| F/Stop: 8 | Exposure: 50 seconds | Tripod
